The collaboration between Feng Chia University and The University of Queensland initially focused on the 2+2 dual bachelor's degree program at the International School of Technology and Management. In 2021, the "UQ-FCU 2+2 Bachelor's Program in Business" was officially approved by the Ministry of Education, and in 2024, the "UQ-FCU 2+2 Bachelor's Program in Electrical Engineering" was added, expanding from business to engineering fields. To date, 63 Feng Chia students have studied at The University of Queensland, with 24 successfully graduating with dual bachelor's degrees.

In 2024, the cooperation between Feng Chia University and The University of Queensland continued to deepen, expanding from undergraduate to graduate levels. Following the signing of the dual master's degree program for the College of Finance last year, this year the collaboration extended to the College of Business. In the future, Feng Chia University's finance and business master's students will have the opportunity to take courses at both universities and graduate with dual master's degrees, enhancing their international competitiveness.

After the signing, both parties immediately held a cooperation exchange meeting. During the meeting, Feng Chia University's College of Information and Electrical Engineering also expressed a willingness to cooperate, demonstrating an ambition to expand international cooperation across disciplines. In the future, the two universities will continue to strengthen opportunities for students to study and exchange abroad, promote faculty visits, academic research cooperation, and plan to use international resources such as the "New Colombo Plan" to organize short-term study tours and other diverse programs, creating a more comprehensive international education environment for students.
